A MESSAGE FROM OUR prESIDENT
Pi Kappa Phi was founded at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina in 1904. Pi Kappa Phi here at UC Santa Barbara was first established in 1969 but reestablished on campus in 2025. It’s an incredible honor to re-introduce the expansion of our fraternity to this amazing campus community
Pi Kappa Phi stands for more than just letters – it represents leadership, character, and brotherhood. Our goal in coming to UCSB is to build something truly meaningful: a fraternity rooted in integrity, service, and lasting relationships. We’re excited to bring back together a group of outstanding men who value personal growth, academic excellence, and genuine connection.
There’s a lot of excitement surrounding this new chapter — not just within our fraternity, but across the entire Greek community. From Campus to Isla Vista we look forward to building strong relationships with both fraternities, sororities and communities along with contributing positively to the campus culture through collaboration, service, and shared experiences.
By joining Pi Kapp it has helped me grow in ways I never expected. I’ve learned the importance of communication, the importance of brotherhood, and how to lead with confidence. Pi Kappa Phi’s growth here on campus will be an exciting journey.
